Ride for the Cure

Help us celebrate 10 years of support for Komen Connecticut on Sunday, October 3, 2010 with what promises to be our most successful Ride to date!

This year we have set a goal of involving 150 riders in raising $150,000.

Event Information

Registration Details

• A $10.00 Rider Event Fee will be collected on the day of the ride (Cash or Check Only).
•  Registration and Rider Awards close on September 15, 2010.
• Registration is limited to riders who submit and complete their Registration Forms and donated $250 before September 15th. 
• Each rider raises a minimum of $250 in donations, which may be submitted at any time prior to September 15th. Riders can make a personal contribution or solicit employers, corporations, friends and family.
• Donations can be made online via credit card or offline via check and cash.
• Please make checks payable to: "Komen Connecticut". All donations are tax-deductible. Donations over $50 will receive an acknowledgement as their receipt for tax purposes.

• Bronze, Silver, and Gold Rider Awards will be determined by monies received by September 15th.
• Platinum Rider will be determined by monies received by 11:00am the day of the Ride. The Platinum Rider will be announced at 1:00pm during lunch at the Barn.
• Keep track of donations with a Ride Fundraising Form. Remember to send in all donations with a Ride Fundraising Form.
  

• Parking area opens at 8:00 am.
• Registration and refreshments open at 8:30 am.
• Riders start the course between 9:00 and 11:30 am
• Lunch will be served between 11:30 and 2:30.
• Guest lunches are $7.00. All guest lunches must be ordered and paid by September 15, 2010. No guest lunches will be sold at the door. Rider lunches are provided at no additional cost.
• Riders must be 12 years of age or older. Riders 12 to 17 years old must be accompanied by a rider 21 years or age or older.
• Helmets (ASTM/SEI approved) are mandatory for all riders.
• The ride will be held rain or shine.
• Individuals who do not ride can choose to sponsor a rider or make an event donation in any amount.

By September 15, 2010 every rider needs a:

• Complete online or paper registration
• Minimum donation of: $250.00 (either raised or given directly)
  
• Signed Release and Hold Harmless Agreement
