Thank you to all who joined us for the Inaugural Race for the Cure in Fairfield County! 

Seventy-five percent of Komen Connecticut’s net revenue supports local breast health programs across Connecticut and the remaining 25% is invested in research to find the causes and cures for the disease. None of the money raised in Connecticut goes to support Komen National administration.

Why we need your support:

Every step counts! Your donation provides women and men in Connecticut with services that save lives. You help make the following programs possible:

• Free mammograms and diagnostics
• Medical treatment for qualified breast cancer patients who cannot afford care
• Support services including support groups, assistance with finding financial resources and transportation to medical appointments
• Education about the warning signs of breast cancer, methods of early detection and the latest treatment options
• Cutting edge scientific research to find the cures for breast cancer
