Come join me on Sunday, March 30th, for Linda's Walk for Hope a community event to raise research funds for the fight against breast cancer.

It's personal...

This worthwhile cause is very near and dear to my heart; my family has been, and continues to be, personally and deeply affected by this terrible disease, starting with my paternal Great Grandmother who died of breast cancer. More recently, we lost my Aunt Linda far too early when she succumbed to breast cancer at the age of 46. This walk is in honor of my beloved Aunt Linda.

But there are survivors in my family too, strong and courageous women like Linda's daughter Kathleen and my Great Aunt Wendy, as well as my Aunt Gail who remains steadfast in her battle against breast cancer. I am paying tribute to these inspiring loved ones as well by raising awareness and funds that will help find a cure for this disease.

I personally had a scare that resulted in breast surgery at a young age. Fortunately for me it wasn’t cancer, but I understand the fear that even the possibility of breast cancer elicits.

But it's not just me...

You, or someone you love, may also be personally affected by this disease. According to the American Cancer Society, the chance of a woman having invasive breast cancer during her life is 1 in 8. With your generous donation of time and money, not only are you helping those who are currently fighting the disease, you're helping everyone who hopes to never hear the words "You have breast cancer."

Research dollars play a critical role. According to the Susan G. Komen Foundation the 5-year relative survival rate for women diagnosed with early stage breast cancer has risen from 74% in 1980 to a remarkable 99% today.

Come, and help me make a difference. Join the millions of other volunteers across the country to walk and be a part of the fight to end breast cancer.

Encourage your friends and family to support us with their generous donations.

Thank you
Appreciatively yours,
